The cafe was a refreshing oasis of fresh food, including sandwiches, baked goods, and delicious butter cakes. They even offered free infused water, which was just what I needed after the hike. We had a pleasant chat with the young woman who manages the cafe, and the owner also stopped by to chat. They don't advertise on the highway, so they rely on word-of-mouth. This place is a great, affordable spot for lunch or a snack.
This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a delicious and straightforward breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere is charming and full of character, with many aspects of the church's structure and decor still intact. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Before leaving, be sure to check out the restroom, which is beautifully decorated and really adds to the overall ambiance of the place. Highly recommended!
My friend and I stopped after visiting the lacloche art show too. what a great opportunity to spend the day. the menu was simple and the food was delicious and nutritious. the renovations of the church are beautiful. I think we'll do. an annual event.
We had the good fortune of stopping by the Church Mouse one day for lunch. This quaint well situated cafe boasts wholesome food, friendly service and a unique museum style environment. This cafe was an actual church abandon ed many years ago and still has...the original stained glass windows and confessionals! We enjoyed the environment and unique atmosphere so much that we are hoping to organize an important family event there in the coming year!
We stopped by for a coffee after a walk. The coffee was good the owner friendly. The place was clean. We bought a loaf of bread which was excellent.
