We were here at Henry's on Saturday 26th November. This was our second visit with the new owners. I had Panko Prawns for an entree and my wife had the Garlic Prawns, both were really tasty and plenty of them. For our mains, I had the Veal Dijon and she had the Veal Monte Carlo, again both really nice. All in all very happy with our dinner and will certainly return.
We have not been to Henry's since change of ownership . It was disappointing that there was not many people there, because the service was very attentive but not overpowering like it was with previous owners . The food was very good and well presented . We recommend this restaurant to all and will return soon .
Took my husband there for his birthday. So disappointed. Under new management so I guess it will be an Indian restaurant soon. Served water crackers with their not home made pate, main was OK. Don't think there was any gin in the g & t's. Best part of the night? Using Uber for the first time.
I have been a patron of Henry's restaurant for over five years as a preferred meeting place with friends. We were aware of a change of ownership and last Friday was our second visit since this change. Although the menu has stayed the same unfortunately the quality of the food has not. Our meals on Friday night lacked flavour and the high quality we had come to expect at Henry's. When we ordered coffee two of our party chose short blacks which were clearly half serves of a long black - not expressos. The service was disinterested to say the least. It seemed that we were an inconvenience to the wait staff involved. So disappointing to see a popular restaurant no longer well patronised but sadly understandably so.
