The Beacon - Whitley Bay

Could not have been more helpful the staff here and eating was really delicious! really polite and friendly and nothing was too much annoyed. large selection of drinks and good atmosphere in the pub. many parking spaces outside and in a great location. Delicious eating and the photos do not make it fair. Thank you!

The dinner in the pub really enjoyed us. looked outside with my dog, but offered under cover. great idea! with heating. eating was nice, personal, where very nice. with my son with a nut allergy they were very thorough. the best I've seen so far. Thank you. the only improvement that I would suggest is to have the heating on a somewhat longer timer, sorry lost the pictures I have made!

We’re from Manchester and were staying nearby for a short break and stumbled across The Beacon. What a great pub. Well looked after ales and excellent value for money food. Wish we lived closer!

The Beacon is a large pub which is popular for dining. They have four cask beers and a good selection of other drinks. I enjoy the Sunday roast lunch. The service is good and the staff are friendly. Definitely worth booking a table for Sunday as it can get busy.

Had Sunday lunch here a few times and had no complaints. This week the beef was so tough I couldn't cut it, I was offered a steak knife, which did cut it but I couldn't chew it and left it as it was so over done. When asked if everything was alright I said I couldn't eat the meat, and they said sorry about that. Why ask if they don't do anything about a complaint
