Turknaz - Whitley Bay

I had a fantastic dining experience with flavorful food served in generous portions. There were four of us, and we started with both a cold and a hot appetizer. If you're looking for smaller plates or aren't very hungry, you might be tempted to skip the appetizers, but I highly recommend them—they're simply delicious and more than enough to fill you up. We indulged so much that we rolled out of there when it was time to go home! The restaurant staff were very polite and attentive without being intrusive; they checked in just the right amount and were there whenever we needed something. Overall, a great experience!

I recently visited the most beautiful Turkish restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and entertaining. Omer really made us laugh! The lamb was absolutely divine—hands down the best I’ve ever had, incredibly tender and flavorful. Even the rice was outstanding. The atmosphere was excellent, with lovely decor and a prime location right by the sea. If you haven’t been yet, you definitely need to go. You won't be disappointed; this restaurant has it all!

I ordered the mixed barbecue and overall, the meat was exceptionally well cooked—tender and juicy. The portion size was great for the price. The salmon salad was well prepared but lacked juiciness, and the salad itself was quite basic, making it a bit overpriced for what I received. On a positive note, the service was excellent.

Absolutely super! can not believe that our luck at a weekend visit to whitley bay with family, we liked the view of the place and had luck getting to the birthday dinner party. atmosphere (big live music, a very talented guy sings with acoustic guitar,) eat and service (especially omer) all wonderful, completely amazing. thanks for an evening!

Very nice food, and lots of different things to choose from on the menu too. I'd definitely eat here again when in the area.
