Popeye's Fish and Chips and Takeaway

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. It may sound romantic, but the reality is far from it. For $24.95, you get a plate of chips and a disappointing piece of grilled fish. The setting may be tranquil, but the food is not worth the money. Hamilton Island should consider revoking their license and finding a more competent operator. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Ok sorry but what a rip off, priced to fleece every cent they can from you and give you limited choice regarding what you wanted, for example you have to choose an individual meal, fish and chips $25.00 , fish was awful and i had no idea what it was and the chips were soggy. To serve up this limp affort in such a beautiful spot with the variety of fresh fish on hand was embarassing.

Service was very quick . Our pieces of fish were so tasty . More tasty than the expensive restaurant we dined at the night after

Popeyes was our favourite lunch spot, they had the best burgers on the Island from the places we'd been to. Loved it!

I had some expectations for my $25 meal at Hamilton Island, but unfortunately, the fish was not fresh and tasted tainted. The only redeeming quality was the chips, which were worth a star.
