Maki Yaki - Whittier

Where do I start… My wife and I always get the Chicken Bento w/ a side of Crunchy Shrimp Rolls. This place never fails. Everything from the dipping sauce to the lay drop of fresh Wonton soup is flavorsome. Highly recommend it. Parking can be a bit of a headache unless your willing to pay a small fee to park in the structure across the street. I recommend picking up your food and head to Central Park which is literally around the corner. Thank me later guys.

The baked salmon is absolutely AMAZING! I would definitely order it again. The dragon and spider rolls were decent but nothing special. I ordered the garlic edamame, but there was no garlic at all; it tasted quite bland. The mussels were pretty tasty, though. I only had water to drink, and the cup they gave me was really tiny and made of plastic. I had to keep asking for refills, and by the time I had my fourth or fifth, the server just brought me the check. I paid and left after that.

The service was outstanding. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced.

It was decent, but I was feeling pretty tipsy after this one. LOL

I went for lunch with my son and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered a Philadelphia Roll, California Roll, and Spicy Tuna, all of which we enjoyed.
