Worst restaurant experience ever. Management needs to step up their game. Customer’s satisfaction should be #1 priority
This place is phenomenal… the vibes are good … food and drinks are amazing… excellent service … they go above and beyond … also great music and tvs for sports
I have been eating at this restaurant for 40 years. Even after the owner Jackie retired the new owners make his recipes. They have carried on New Cantons tradition. I'll be back.
I have written and rewritten this review 4 times. If you want a quick gauge to the experience, check the stars. If you want an honest review, continue reading. I don 't know where to begin. I won 't bother you with the poor greeting and weird neon vibe in the restaurant/bar that is trying to be something it 's not. Sat at the bar. Rule #1 for ANY bar: never put your point of sale (POS) directly in front of a paying customer. Literally could reach out and touch the screen while facing an employee as they enter an order. Worst placement. We ordered some drinks which were ok. Also ordered the chicken lettuce wraps which rivaled PF Chang. Quite good so complements to the chef. That brings me to Rule #2: Don 't have conversations about other customers in front of other customers. These poor teenagers working in this place were more concerned with making sure an influencer was served correctly and making sure their food/drinks were comped rather than focusing on actual paying customers. Rule #3: have an actual bartender behind the bar. In the stupid chaos around the dumb influencer, the bartender was told by the waitress: he wants a Stoli martini. Bartender 's reply? Stoli? Never heard of it. .............I 'm sorry...what!? I was staring at the bottle! Stolichnaya vodka is a staple in EVERY BAR. Enough of the rant, bottom line: New Canton missed the mark. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but so much disappointment and frustration. Missed Opportunity is a more appropriate name.
