We do not always visit for food, but if we eat their best that I had in long time good portions at a reasonable price. the staff is always friendly and helpful. the views are spectacular and in summer a beautiful place to sit out. love it

Me and my partner visit as regularly as possible as we love the food however we would definitely recommend this restaurant based on their staff, especially the man working today between 3-4 I don’t recall his name, he was so helpful and understanding when our daughter wasn’t well and accommodating and friendly. Couldn’t be happier with the food or the service every time.

Stayed over night and would highly recommend this place. Immaculately presented rooms with views of the countryside. Friendly staff and delicious food. Would definitely stay here again

We stopped off for a quick bite, our expectations weren't high as it was off the beaten track. Lovely surprise for us, it's a great place, just off the A68, great ale, service and amazing choice of food, all freshly prepared. Chilli was delicious, as was the shrimp, off the Born in the USA range. Highly recommend! Waitress was lovely and allowed me to sample the ale before committing
