Teriyaki House - Wichita East

One of my favorite hole in the walls in Wichita happens to be Teriyaki House on South Rock Road. Not only is the food incredible, but so are the owners. And for around $8 you can't beat this meal in a box.

The food is always fresh and delicious! Service is amazing. My 8 year old loves the garlic chicken!

Updated Review: Nice family owned small business with fresh, delicious food, and very reasonable prices. My daughter and I have been dining at this quaint little restaurant ever since they opened about 10 years ago. It’s one of our favorite local places for Thai Curry, Chicken Pad Thai, Crab Rangoon, Potstickers, and more. Unfortunately ever since the Covid-19 epidemic they’ve been serving their food in disposable styrofoam containers/togo boxes while dining in, but I sure wish they would return to serving their delicious dishes on actual dishes because it really does take away from the enjoyment of sitting and dining in their cozy restaurant. Let’s try to go back to pre-outbreak-living as much as possible. Although, I must say they do a really good job packing up Togo meals — it’s done with care and consideration. They also do a great job with cleanliness and service as well as the selection, pricing, and quality of their food. Someone gave them a bad review for a poorly designed drive-thru but this little cafe style restaurant doesn’t have a drive-thru, only dine-in or take out. They “reviewed” the wrong place.

The drive-thru makes no sense. There is a readable 9 ft clearance sign if you're facing what they claim is the wrong way. Furthermore there's no order a speaker or any way to get anyone's attention once you're at the window. The exit signs don't make it at all clear where to go, just where to not go. Of course they diluted themselves into believing that these signs give you directions which they don't. Instead of apologizing for their hazardous and unsafe drive through, they blamed me for it! Really horrible people here!

Tasty, Kind, Affordable. The owners are incredibly welcoming and the food is exceptional. Their Crab Rangoons are a fan favorite of my family!
