The Kitchen - Wichita East

The Kitchen is a happy small restaurant that was serving a special dish for St Patricks Day, of which the wife loved, while I had a perfectly cooked Brie amd Bacon Burger. We will be going back for sure.

Not a very big menu, I didn't really care for the selection so spent a lot for food I didn't really enjoy.

First time here. The food was delicious.. Got dessert to go, the best carrots cake I have tasted. Will be back soon

Charming, smaller venue with a comfortable atmosphere. A surprising menu with both down home favorites (chicken and waffles , and upscale items (steak Diane. Generous portions without being overwhelming. The chicken and waffles was delightful, accompanied by a spicy honey with just the right balance of sweet and tangy, followed a bright kick of spice. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the service was definitely superior, but the food was sub-par. The serving staff was amazing. Our glassess were never empty during our long wait for the food and service was excellent throughout our experience. It took 45 minutes to get our sandwiches. The grilled BLT was a head of Romain lettuce halved with blue cheese, tomatoes, and bacon bits sprinkled on top. It was burned, clunky, and difficult to eat.
