Crafted: Coffee, Tea, Poke - Wichita

This is a fantastic spot for a smoothie or some healthy food in Wichita. The interior is surprisingly nice, featuring comfortable seating and a selection of board games. They even offer a table for playing Chess or Checkers, which I really appreciated. The smoothie I tried was superb.

Today, during my third visit, it felt like I was eating nothing but rice. I tried mixing it up, hoping to find some sauce at the bottom or something to enhance the flavor, but it was really bland. They aren't a bad restaurant; I think ordering inside might be better than using the drive-thru. When I called this last time, the staff mentioned that they have guidelines to follow for preparation. I understand that, so I don't really blame them, but I do have a suggestion for next time: I felt like I spent $13 on a bowl of rice.

The owners are absolutely delightful and the poké was incredibly fresh! Despite a previous negative experience, we decided to give it another try tonight. To our surprise, the restaurant was under new ownership and the new family running the place was incredibly welcoming and engaging, even going out of their way to assist us with ordering and explaining the menu in detail. It was such a good experience!

Drove across town to get some poke, got there at 8pm on Friday and I guess they decided to close 1.5hrs early. The doors were locked and the employees inside were cleaning up. The sign outside the door and google said they close at 9:30pm on Fridays. Waste of my time driving out there for nothing. I told my wife about it and she told me she once went there for lunch and nobody was at the drive-thru, so she left.

Absolutely love this place. Food is amazing and staff is so friendly. The Vietnamese coffee is a must have!
