Taco Bueno - Wichita

I had never visited this Taco Tico before, but after an appointment, I decided to stop in for a taco and some bean and cheese burritos. We chose to dine in, and I was very impressed by the restaurant's modern and vibrant decor. Everything was spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered a taco and two bean and cheese burritos, while Linda opted for a taco salad and a Coke. The food was exactly what I had hoped for, and I wasn’t disappointed. The burritos were piping hot, so I ate my taco first. I absolutely loved the green chili sauce; the heat intensified as I ate more, and it was delicious. By the time I finished my meal, I felt like I could breathe fire through my nose and ears! Linda also enjoyed her taco salad and mentioned that she hadn't been to a Taco Tico since she was a kid. She found the shell for her salad to be just perfect. I would definitely come back here again.

This was my first visit to a Taco Tico in years! The main reason I stopped going in the past was that every time I ate there, I ended up feeling sick. However, at this location, I tried the Beef Taco Salad, and it was the best I’ve had in a long time from a fast food restaurant. I do think the cashier’s attitude could use some improvement; it would be nice to hear more warmth in her voice. She seemed to have a “I don’t want to be here” vibe, which I can understand, but it still affected the experience a bit. Other than that, everything was amazing. If I had the funds, I would have tipped everyone in the restaurant. Great job, Taco Tico!

We visited the Taco Tico location on 37th Rock Road. The food reminded us of the original commissary dishes that Taco Tico used to prepare and deliver to all their locations back in the 1970s.

I really wish I could give this place 5 stars every time I visit because it’s fantastic! I especially appreciate the 20% military discount. Unlike Taco Tico and Taco Rico, they don’t offer military discounts, and I just drove all the way from West Street because their awesome customer service and discount really stood out. I highly recommend Taco Bueno to everyone I know, whether they’re in the military or not—this place is truly great!

I have always received good service and quality food when i went here. So much better than the bell place, which i wont ever go to. It was sometimes a bit messy but i think more of that lies with customers who make a mess at the salsa bar. It was never crowded though and i just heard its closed with another taco place taking over. Really disappointed they're gone
