Woodfire Grille - Wichita

My husband and I made a date dinner here. Really beautiful and elegant. Portion sizes are really good. A romantic place too! We loved her main nativity! Buttersoft! Definitely gets back for another date night!

We stopped at Woodfire on our vacation and it was one of the best restaurants we have been to. The staff was excellent, the food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely. You do need a reservation before stopping because they are busy but it is definitely worth trying out!!

Went on a Wednesday to try something new. The menu had many interesting options but I hadn't had prime rib in awhile and had made my choice. The waitress offered the specials to include 2 for 1 prime rib. We were a little concerned but decided to go for it. It was great. My chopped salad was good, the French onion soup was interesting although it was very good. Dessert should always have room saved for it and it didnt disappoint. The whole experience was enjoyable.

Oooh take a little drive to Mulvane for a special night out! You can't beat this wonderful place for dinner. The steaks are tender, and delicious. Very unique presentation, and flavor. The home made bread came with 3 flavors of butter. Honey, Hawiian sea salt, and spiced olive oil. The servers are excited about the menu, and make great suggestions. Tonight, we had the chefs special. A center cut Delmonico steak with pepper sauce. Delicious. I never order dessert, but I'm so glad I did! Fluffy lemon cheese cake, with a thick cookie crust. The manager came over, and introduced himself to us, and chatted awhile. He gave us his card, and told us to call him for reservations. What a great personal touch, and a wonderful dinner experience!!! It is located inside of the Kansas Star Casino, so you can have a little fun after your meal. I think I have a new favorite place for dinner!

Jessica was the absolute best server we had for years. The crabcake appetizers get the crabcakes. Perfection. I have the scallops and was tired of the bed of “street corn” that came. It was excellent. Like a plate was empty, the lady-buses tables had it gone and you hardly noticed. Once someone left, she had the table clean. I notice she checked her anger during cleaning tables to make sure it clean and replaced if not. If you are looking for a nice date night, we highly recommend you. The mushroom added (even if mushroom is coarse), my wife said incredible. The only negative for the whole thing - the casino is at kinda sucks. Many older games and not many “cap games” games for those who do not try to win or lose a mortgage payment. Ask Jessica, I'll tell you she's the best. The steaks looked great and even the burgers and pommes had asked me to try. Five stars plus.
