I had reason to visit newcastle and had to find a last minute accusations. I was in the albion years ago and remembered it as a pleasant experience at that time. my recent stay reminded me of what a big pub that is. the accomodation...is classic country pub, with high ceilings, and a reasonable comfortable bed. the seperate wc and shower is standard rate for a pub stay. the accent comes with breakfast when they take care of it and this can be enjoyed on the balcony with view of the main street. steak was on the menu for me and it was simply cooked as I asked to be, and the service was polite and charming friendly. I am looking forward to my next trip to newie, I will be sure to stop at the albion hotel mat

We had a table of 8 hungry campers, when we settled on albion for Saturday dinner and while it waited a little, as the place was packed (good sign) nobody had a complaining. a great meal at a fair price, friendly server bar staff and a real good choice for dinner drinks!
