Rupps - Wien

Kind of a dive looking bar when you walk in, but the beer is good and the whiskey is endless. The seating isn't the most comfortable; some tables are so low they're nearly at your knees. But if you can get yourself a good table you're golden. I can't say the food is outstanding but it's decent for how cheap it is and the fact that you're kind of in a Irish dive bar. There's lots to look at, lots to drink, so you'll be pretty well entertained. I'll be going back for the drinks for sure.

This is an awesome little Irish bar located in the 5th district selling strictly vegetarian/lacto vegetarian/vegan food which tastes pretty good and that's coming from a staunch meat/fish eater ; The bar itself is non smoking with a side room for the smokers which is refreshing. It's small and cosy with a nice atmosphere. The decor is really vintage with a cool display of bottles behind the bar. Their whiskey menu is pretty impressive! The reason I am giving it only 4 stars is because the place was completely understaffed. One waitress/barmaid was running the whole show even though we'd made a reservation for 12 people days in advance so they knew it was going to be busy. On top of that there were a lot of other people waiting for drinks and food as well.

Rustic but very cozy, menu almost pure vegan, top price performance ratio, huge whisky selection, great for a cozy evening

The beverage selection is huge, divers and well temperatured. the rupps has the taverns flair that I search in a pub, in addition the burgers are highly recommended. for the board game is also sufficiently careful.
