Dragos Am See - Wietmarschen

It located next to an artificial lake with some nice beaches. Food is ok but rather average. If you you're just looking for a place with a bit of a view it's fine, but don't expect high class cooking. In fairness, there's not a lot of option in the area, so this might still be your best choice.

Went there for dinner upon recommendation of some business friends. A short drive from Lingen, but well worth it. Very nice location at the small lake, with a spaceous outdoor area, and a really nice and casual athmosphere indoors. Food was ok, we chose different things like pizza, pasta and schnitzel, and staff were attentative and pretty fast.

We went to Dragos for lunch, following a walk around the lake on which it sits. It is a trendy place, modern rustic, with lots of outdoor tables if the weather is right. The food falls into the fast-food category, pizzas, burgers, salads etc. but was freshly prepared and made and not mass produced. There was a convivial atmosphere and despite being a mid-week lunchtime, there was a good number of customers. It is out of town needs a car to get there. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
