The bacon was really tough. I ordered a latte, I saw the lady get Aldi branded coffee out of the cupboard, then poured milk in the top and put it in the microwave. They are also selling multipack Aldi cans separately. It looks lovely from outside and it’s such a good location on the high street, sadly I won’t be going back.
If you are looking for good, home cooked delicious food, in my opinion Humble Pie Cafe is the best not only in Standish, but the Wigan area too. Jacquie, the owner, offers an excellent choice of meals and snacks at very competitive prices. You can choose to eat in the cafe itself or order take away food and beverages. Waitress Debbie is polite, efficient and very helpful to all customers, and makes fabulous coffees. You can pay using cash or card, so don't miss out on visiting Humble Pie Cafe when you are next in Standish. Simply the Best!
Visited here for the first time with my brother and we were not disappointed. Very friendly and welcoming staff and most importantly the food was delicious. I will definitely be visiting again :
I really like this little cafe on the High Street. The owner is really pleasant and she serves the most tasty sausage barms in the area.
I come here about twice a week, the food is always good and very reasonable. The owner is a lovely lady who also makes very good cakes.
