A very remote brewery outside of Oberau. The beer is very good, but the local bus service makes it impossible to enjoy an evening here. Simple but tasty food, with a very good range of beers

Shocking service, lack of staff, nice enough barman but pretty much left to our own. Had to go to bar to ask if we might have some menus and order a drink. A dad and his son came in sat down next to us, went and got their own menu and after 10 minutes of waiting for any kind of service got up and walked out. Food was ok, no chance of getting another drink or pudding, waited at the bar for 10 minutes to pay the bill. One waitress seemed more interested in smooshing the locals not looking after paying customers. Not experienced the best of service in Austria!!

What a brilliant place, A ski holiday isn't a ski holiday without a visit or two to a micro brewery and you'll want to keep coming back to this one (especially if you're staying in the village). I stayed at the Bergkristall just up the hill and so of course the wife and I were here most nights. Huge range of ales and lagers, too many to try in one holiday (not just in one night), table service, staff are great fun and the venue is modern but oozes with Alpine charm. A great drinking experience.

The brewery and the café are interesting to look round and a good place for a drink and a bite to eat.

We had passed this place a number of times and decided to stop for a beer, they brew it themselves and it's delicious, very friendly owner. We sat by the river listening to it going over the falls and looking at the lovely buildings
