Grotto Pizza - Wilkes Barre

I ordered takeout, including a pizza, salad, and wings. The wings were incredibly small; I requested a dozen but only received eight, which I suppose counts as an order. The sauce was terrible—tasted just like ketchup. The salad was unappetizing; it looked like someone had scraped their leftovers into a container, had no dressing, and wasn't even what I had ordered. The pizza was decent, but takeout from Grotto never seems to taste like the food from the restaurant. Overall, I am very disappointed and likely won’t be returning.

I'm really sorry to say this, but I was extremely disappointed today. I ordered a specific pizza, and they made the wrong one. To make matters worse, the pizza they gave me was dry and had barely any cheese on it. Since I can only enjoy pizza from here occasionally because it's almost an hour away, this was a huge letdown.

The food could have been improved. This place is definitely not the grotto I remember. The pizza was good and served hot, but it lacked flavor. The wings were quite small, with many of them being just broken pieces of chicken and bones. Thankfully, most of the wings were three inches long and had no meat on them. They did have a decent taste, but at over $1.00 per wing, it just isn't worth it. On a positive note, our server was very friendly.

Have been going here for a few years. The experience and food are typically good. Went today and they seem to have replaced the white meat with dark in their grand slam wing dip. I get that they raised the prices, all businesses have, but please don?t reduce the quality too. Also, our waitress was fabulous and a delight. She was attentive and very pleasant. On a side note: We ate at the Harvey?s lake Grotto about a week ago. The wing dip there was all white meat and not very oily. What are they doing differently?

The food is extremely good. I'd recommend the grand slam wings, they are excellent. We had the nicest waitress, I believe her name was Kayla. She was so pleasant and service was great! Definitely recommended.
