Thanks to the service from our waitress , Georgia , and the accommodations of the head chef Chris Austin we have never left happier! We went last minute Hoping to score the Lobster Risotto but got there too late! To my surprise, the head chef created an even better dish , without hesitation! A seafood risotto made to perfection! Topped with the best service and desert! We hope you check this place out too! You won’t be disappointed!

The food is good, not a big menu but still good. Service was the best we had in the area. Not very busy from 8-11 on the Saturday we were there. The atmosphere and music is great with two bars and an outside deck. Hopefully the deck is set up for next time. It was still set up for winter with the igloos.Food: 4/5

The Downpour consistently offers top-notch meals at reasonable prices! Their menu options are fantastic and they offer a wide range of flavors. You can dine here weekly and discover a new tasty dish each time. Food: 5/5.

Interesting tasty bar food pickies. Liquor options could be broader, but dining area was a lovely surprise. A very West Village look with great lighting.

I visited this restaurant for the first time a few days ago. The decor was charming and I appreciated the two different bar areas. The staff was very accommodating and I was pleased with their service. The food was delicious and I enjoyed the diverse menu options. The crab dip and curry shrimp were tasty starters. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with sweet potato fries, which were the best I've ever had - sweet, crispy, and with a delicious maple glaze. Despite a mix-up with one of our dishes (we ordered mashed potatoes but received French fries), our waitress went above and beyond to make it right. The restaurant was bustling and seemed like a popular spot. I would give them 5 stars, but our order mix-up and wait time for a table (despite having a reservation) were a bit disappointing.
