The Frederick Stegmaier Mansion

I must say, I truly enjoyed my experience at this bed-and-breakfast. The house is one of the most remarkable I’ve ever been in, with attention to detail that is unmatched. I stayed in the Amelia room, which is absolutely beautiful, and for the price we paid, it was the best deal I’ve ever found for such a high-quality accommodation. The owner, Joe, is very welcoming and is available on-site to show you around the house. I spent hours wandering and admiring all the antiques throughout the property. During our four-day stay, we took trips to the casino and attended a concert. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place, giving it a well-deserved five stars. As someone who can be a tough critic, I was incredibly impressed with my stay here.

We visited for a tour of the mansion and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The lunch was delightful, and the desserts were superb. We also tried a couple of Stegmaier beers, including a fantastic IPA and a delicious Pumpkin Spice—both were delightful! Additionally, we sampled their chef-made dark chocolate sea salt caramels, which were a real treat. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We even had the pleasure of being entertained by a barbershop quartet. The owner of the mansion was welcoming and had a wealth of knowledge about the history of the mansion as well as the Stegmaier family's brewery and beer legacy. The mansion’s interior is beautifully ornate—truly a feast for the eyes. It's also a bed and breakfast, and I definitely plan to return for an overnight stay in the future. This mansion is a must-visit if you’re in the area. Joe dedicated years to meticulously renovating every detail, from the antique furnishings to the beautifully painted ceilings. Stepping inside feels like a journey back to a time of ice cream socials and afternoon teas with high society. Joe has poured his heart and soul into this project, and it truly reflects in every aspect. Be sure not to miss the opportunity to stay in one of the charming bedrooms and savor the incredible food and exceptional service. It’s an experience you’ll cherish for years to come.

Beautiful mansion restored meticulously. This bed and breakfast is a wonderful place to stay. One of a kind and worth the visit. It was featured in Victoria magazine a while back because it is just so beautiful!

We recently had our daugter’s bridal shower at the Mary Stegmaier Mansion. It was flawless!! Kim is a true delight to work with. The staff was extremely professional and made everyone feel welcome!
