About a minute later, my phone rang, and I was addressed by a friendly voice. I explained my problem, and the woman with whom I spoke was eager to rectify the situation. Indeed, I have just received corrected shipment with a thoughtful gift to make up for the error.I visited Stardust with my sister, a local and connoisseur of all libations fermented, and I recall the charm of the taproom and the cordiality and helpfulness of the barkeep. They take customer service seriously and maintain high standards for quality.Stardust Taproom is not to be missed, and since we can now order their Ancestral Meads online, there's no excuse!
We had an impromptu stop at Stardust to check out the local beverage scene. The staff was super friendly and took great care of us. The meads were great and loved that they were locally sourced and made. They even have a non-alcoholic version which they promptly bottled for us to take home for kids. The cherry on the pie was the adjoining crepe shop. It was delicious. We will be back for sure and will be tasting the wines next time.
I am a member of Harvest Hosts and stayed the night here. I got a flight and thought I would try something different. They have a selection of beers, wines and mead. I tried the Peach mead and it turned out to be a favorite. They have a large outdoor seating area and fenced area for dogs. This place is located in a strip mall so it isn't like other wineries I have visited. They people were friendly and service was good.
Hands down the best place to catch a drink in Wilkes. Grab a crepe while there.Editing this review to add: if craft beer is your hobby this is the place for you. There are only two other places in town with a similar selection or experience, but this place reigns supreme for a craft beer drinker looking for something rated 80+ on rate beer consistently. If you only drink bud light, you’re probably going to be disappointed (but you should try craft beer because it really is better ? . They have some great entertainment and a dog park out back, oh and a fire pit. Definitely the cool place to hang in wilkes.
Friendly staff and owner, good music outside, delicious crepes, and be sure to read the information on their website about the wine. I'll take friends there again.
