Shield's Tavern-colonial Williamsburg

Unsatisfied with entertainment. It has added so much to the ambience, but I guess they're trying to save. The food was good and expensive.

Great place for New Year's Eve dinner the food and service were excellent and what an interesting building.

I had a fantastic meal! My server, Mo, offered delightful service with a cheerful attitude and a song. I particularly enjoyed the butternut squash soup, the ale potted short ribs, and I finished off with raspberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream.

The food, service and entertainment was good. We all enjoyed it.

Shields Tavern has been reinstated to a historic dining venue. My last visit to Shields we bought sandwiches on a table inside the front entry and ate at long tables and benches with other visitors. Avoided that. The new/ old environment was lunch very and food far superior to our last dinner at Kings Arms! Miss the historical ambiance provided by servers and appetizers!
