Sushiya - Williamsburg

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever visited! The service is excellent, and the food is outstanding! You must try the tempura, and the beef is exceptional! The sushi is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food is fantastic. It truly is a hidden gem! I can’t recommend it enough—great service all around!

The female server was fantastic—no issues with the service at all. This used to be our favorite Asian restaurant in the city for sushi and hibachi. However, I understand that they face a lot of competition, but unfortunately, the quality of the food has really declined. The meat was questionable, and I received the wrong dish that I couldn't even eat.

Some unique elements in their menu. Everything we had really tasted good, but they were from some of the elements on their menu that we wanted to try. If they try the habanero tuna, really good.

I visited this restaurant for the first time two days ago. When we arrived, there was no one available to greet us as other guests began to call for the waitress. We had to get their attention multiple times for drink refills. The food was good, but the prices felt exorbitant considering the poor service. Our waitress was quite rude, which could be attributed to cultural norms or simply being overwhelmed by her workload. If you're looking for a five-star experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The staff can really make or break your dining experience.

I've had sushi from a lot of restaurants. Sushiya is by far the best place I've ever been. Every time my wife and I go elsewhere it just doesn't compare. We love coming here, the staff are half the reason we love it. They are always super nice and great to talk with. We'd eat here weekly if money wasn't a problem.
