Park Pizza - Williamsport

Park Pizza is the only pizza place in Williamsport that uses fresh ingredients I found. I was looking for a good pizza one night and went out of 6 other pizza spots before I found Park Pizza all because they said they use canned mushrooms I don't compromise on my pizza.

Pizza was great, took half of it home for the next day. When my wife had eaten a bit at noon, the flap started to spit out her pizza. I thought she burned her mouth, but when she got it out, she said there was something sharp in the pizza. they dug through and found a piece of steel shaving, which looked like a piece falling from a can opener. It was a small piece, but if a child or another person ate that there could be some internal damage inside. I'll go back, it was the first time we ever had dinner there. I just need to make sure there are openers.

I just grew up a block of Park Pizza, so I had my share. It still tastes so many years later and is still the best pizza all around. When they opened before many moons, they bought my grandfather's bakery oven (on Scott Street) to start their business. Recently I asked her to send a heart-shaped pizza to my son's friend (he was used over this Valentine's Day and that went beyond and beyond for us. Very nice people and GREAT food.
