Pier 87 - Williamsport

Food is good, service can be slow. Drinks are great, always relaxing to sit in the rockers while watching the creek.

This place gets busy, so be prepared to wait. Go to the bar if in a hurry, especially in warmer weather. We waited a long time both for a table and for the food and drinks. As expected, based on the crowd. My buffalo chicken wrap and onion rings were excellent and the hot wing sauce was really hot and delicious. Really nice bar out by the creek and nice decor inside as well. Recommend stopping here if nearby.

I'll preface this review by saying that I'm aware food is more expensive than a few years ago as pretty much everything is). Went to Pier 87 tonight for the first time with a large group 12). The service was great. Our server was attentive and on top of things. All of our food came out at the same time and was hot. I had the crab cake sandwich. It was ok. The crab cake itself was good though a little bland. There was tartar sauce served on it but it was also bland. It tasted like it was missing any tartness. Our adult daughter, who had not accompanied us, asked us to order her the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp to bring home for her. On the menu it is listed as being $22.99. Two of the people in our party ordered the fettuccine Alfredo but with chicken. The portions were large and according to those who had ordered it, very tasty. When we got the check, the shrimp Alfredo we ordered to go was listed at $25.99. When we got home and our daughter opened the box there was a little more than half the portion of pasta that those dining at the restaurant had received and a paltry 3 pieces of shrimp. She said the meal was good, but she was so disappointed in what little shrimp actually came in the meal. We felt so bad for her that we gave her back $10 of her $26. We are still undecided if we will ever go back.

Date of our visit was 06/29/22. This was our last day in the area and we decided to treat our son in law to a birthday meal with family. We arrived at about 4:30 in the afternoon and weren't ready to eat so we sat in the patio area having drinks and enjoying the view of the creek and hills. Jordan, Evan and Triston even did some fishing. When we were ready to eat, these were the items we ordered. Two crab cake dinners, two fish taco wraps, one cheeseburger, one roast beef sandwich, one lobster and shrimp roll and a child chicken tenders. Everything was very good, all four five stars. Location and scenery are the reasons for the five star rating. Highly recommend and would return.

Wow what an atmosphere outside along the creek. Good food and service. Would highly recommend, worth the drive
