The friendly owners make you feel welcome and eager to return, and their food is simply fantastic! I had a cheesesteak that was so amazing that I could barely finish it—I ended up taking half of it home. I also enjoyed a delicious rice bowl that was so filling, I had to share it. Overall, a wonderful meal!
I decided to explore a restaurant I had never visited before and discovered Port Town Heroes on Yelp. The reviews were fantastic, and now I understand why. I ordered a chicken cheese steak, and it was absolutely perfect! The roll was one of the best I've ever had, and all the ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality. Everything was delicious, and I'm definitely planning to return soon! Joel provided exceptional customer service and was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of great food at a great price. You won't leave disappointed—or still hungry!
After reading several glowing reviews on Facebook about this shop's sandwiches, I decided to stop by for lunch last Tuesday. I've known Joel for many years and was aware that he had opened a restaurant, but I wasn't sure what to expect. Following his suggestion, I tried the cheesesteak, opting for a pepper jack steak without peppers or onions. It was fantastic! The meat was perfectly seasoned, and it paired wonderfully with a hearty roll—something that many other cheesesteak specialty shops often neglect. I'll definitely be returning to this shop regularly, and I highly recommend that others pay a visit, too!
This is one of the best cheesesteaks I've had since relocating from Pennsylvania to Georgia. Port Town Heroes is undoubtedly the top spot for a cheesesteak in the area—there's simply no comparison!
I stopped by and had the owner, Joel, make me his best cheesesteak with mayo. He prepared a delicious combination of provolone and American cheese on an Amoroso roll, seasoned perfectly with Cajun spices. The sautéed onions and banana peppers added even more flavor. This was genuinely the best cheesesteak I've had in the area. Joel also mentioned that he doesn't cook pork on his grill, which is a nice bonus!
