Mascalzone Pizzeria Osteria Artigiana

We were tecomMascalzones for great authentic Italian food as opposed to “Aussie Italian”. The recommendation was correct for good food. We enjoyed our pasta and risotto dishes. However……. The service could do with some etiquette training. We ordered an entree and mains with a bottle of wine. The entree was delivered shortly after the wine and within a few minutes the mains arrived whilst we were still eating our entree. We advised the waitress that we would like to enjoy our entree followed by a short interval before mains. She took the mains away and they were returned by another waitress who told us that we should have specified that we wanted the courses delivered separately! We explained that is usual etiquette and we were told that the waitress was only 16 and didn’t know any different!

Visited Mascalzone for dinner with friends, the restaurant and staff were brilliant. Food was delightful and already planning my next visit. Thank you to the amazing staff

Had early dinner after a couple of hours on the beach. Authentic Italian place with wood fired pizza oven. Very nice kids pizzas. Good service. Seafood hotpot and seafood risotto were also both very good. Would like to come here and try some of the other options

Shockingly bad service tonight. After spending over a thousand dollars in the last six months for delivery, you forgot half our food tonight and refused to send the rest of it even though you acknowledged it was ready and paid for. Told us to sort it out with Menu Log. Well we did. And will never again consider you as an option.

I booked this restaurant via The Fork promo with 40% off meals. The Italian Restaurant is located waterfront at Williamstown. We started by sharing some sweet potatoe fries with mustard aoili. Mains I had the Capricossa Pizza with added salami and my wife had the seafood pasta. Both meals were delicious. As we were full we took some tiramasu home. That was also very good. Highly recommended restaurant to dine at.
