The Rising Sun - Willington

This is one of the friendliest pubs I've ever visited, especially for a small village. During our week-long stay, we were warmly welcomed by Nicky and Ian (the owners) on our first night. The locals were incredibly friendly as well. Plus, the drink prices are fantastic; two large glasses of wine cost what one would in other places.

Strangers in the place but made us feel very welcome. Put footy on for us even kept the wife's handbag safe that she left. Spot on

Had a great night on the 1st July for mums birthday party staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Top pub, Top landlord, Pedigree and atmosphere is to ‘die for. Fabulous collection of ‘locals. TV and live bands …. just WOW!!! Dog and muddy boot friendly …. Landlords dogs are a sight to behold : ….well worth a visit if passing …. My favourite pub !!!!

Large pub with excellent beer, a fantastic atmosphere, and very friendly service. The live music is also great—it's definitely worth checking out, and you won't be disappointed!
