Feedback gevenStopped off at Mr Chicken for dinner and got two of the Wednesday Specials but I subbed the coleslaw for mac and cheese. The chicken, potatoes and biscuits were fine but the mac and cheese didn't taste right. It tasted like it sat under a lamp for toolong.
Customers BEWARE! Check your bag before you leave or your will be disappointed. The lack of customer service was mind blowing! No open greetings or closing we will not be returning! Staff need training in customer relations.
I went on a Wednesday. My food was hot and fresh. The young ladies working were nice and friendly. She convinced me to get the hot apple pie!Food: 5/5
On Thursday, June 8th, because I was in the area and used to love Mr Chicken, bought a 12 piece for $25.99. Got home, about 17 miles away, the chicken was TOO salty to eat. I ate a small wing and my partner tried to eat a breast. Neither piece was palatable. So, I go back the next day and explain to the lady, that the chicken was too salty to even try to eat. She was nice and professional enough, explaining that Mr Chicken does use a lot of salt, and if it's not mixed correctly, the chicken will be salty. She gave me 12 more pieces (no wings at all though), and it was the same thing. I've just decided, I won't be going back to Mr Chicken unless I'm trying to raise my blood pressure, or create high blood pressure in my family. Not sure what Mr Chicken's fascination is with salt, but they could cut what they use in half, at least cut it by a quarter. All that salt does absolutely nothing to enhance the flavor of the chicken, and in fact, makes it inedible. As much as I used to love Mr Chicken, and I do mean love, I will not be going back again. Number one, I don't want to have a heart attack, and number two, who has $26, to throw away? I know I don't. I'll continue buying my fried chicken from Giant Eagle, they rarely miss the mark. All that time, gas and money, and I still can't eat the chicken. Gave it 3 stars, because the lady at my return was professional, definitely not because of the food. Also, during my original purchase on June 8th, the young lady at the drive thru window, was quite unprofessional, becoming annoyed when I had trouble finding the fries on the menu. She needs some customer service training.
Tasted good but the pieces were on the small side thus they are buying the lesser size than many.Food: 5/5
