Railhead Smokehouse Barbeque

I was recommended this BBQ spot by a coworker, and I was not disappointed. The sliced brisket was delicious, and I also tried the original smoked sausage alongside it. The prices were comparable to other similar restaurants. However, I thought the wait time for a to-go order was a bit long, especially since the food was already cooked. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and overall, it’s a decent place to grab a meal.

I would definitely give this restaurant 5 stars solely based on the service. I deducted 1 star, but that was due to my own mistake. I ordered a sandwich without specifying how I wanted it prepared, and since it contained ingredients that my taste buds don't usually tolerate, I ended up only eating half of it. I ordered an appetizer to make up for it, and while it was still delicious, I struggled to enjoy it fully and eventually had to give up. Next time, I'll be sure to specify my preferences, as the sandwich was actually really good. It would have been cheaper if I hadn't indulged in the bar menu as well.

I had the Sunday special. Went through the drive through. (Which was hard to hear, volume was too low for the outside traffic) got my food quickly. The BBQ was decent for a fast food type of food and the sides were good also. I liked how they kept thesauce separate from the burger and all the sides. So it wasn't a huge mess when I went to open it up. For under 11$ this was away better meal than most other fast food restaurants with a drive through. If im ever in the area again and want a quick bit toeat, other than a burger or taco. This is the place I'll go.

My entire family adores this restaurant. We've always had great meals and excellent service here. The brisket nachos were incredible!

What has happened to the RailHead service/waitstaff team. My family and I have routinely gone to the Railhead the last 10 years and always have had excellent service. Approximately 3 months ago we stopped in for dinner on a weeknight, sat on the patio likeusual and was never greeted by any of the wait staff as they passed by. Keep in mind they were not busy. After 10 plus minuteswe simply got up and left and just chalked it up to maybe a off night. Fast forward to last night and the same thing happenedagain. The sad part was they were not even busy like they usually are on a Saturday, but this time someone did yell as they werewalking by they would be with us and never showed back up. After another 5 or minutes we walked out and went down the street andhad the absolutely best service I ever had. Please management get your service back to how it use to be, we love the food!
