Jen's Guesthouse - Willow Springs

This is the second year my employer used the location to host our Christmas party, and this is the second year for the food to be unsatisfactory. Last year, I ordered the filet minion, and it was gray. There were no gill lines, and it was almost too rare, but there was no juice, no flavor. This year, I ordered the grilled shrimp in a garlic white wine sauce with pasta. Again, it was awful. The shrimp was steamed, not grill, not even sauteed, and it had no flavor. The wait staff was friendly they were the only saving grace for the night. The place and the atmosphere were wonderful decorated for the holiday season.

The setting is great. We had 'family style ' eating due to the event we were at but the food in 'family style ' was top notch restaurant quality anywhere else! The service was a delight. Food was pretty good nothing was outstanding but one complaint was that the buffet station was not properly maintained. Serving utensils were coated with food and no one was keeping things meet n e a t or clean there lots of spills and drips so it was very hard to scoop out the food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other

Just enjoyed the perfect Thanksgiving buffet! Absolutely delicious food. Lots of non-meat dishes to choose from as well, which I was very grateful for. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff.
