House Of Pizza - Willow Street

We have been loyal customers of House of Pizza for many years, starting when I was a child. The food and the atmosphere of the pizza/ice cream shop have always been fantastic. The portions were generous and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. Our group used to visit after little league games for ice cream and video games. Unfortunately, we have noticed a significant increase in prices and a decrease in portion sizes at House of Pizza recently. The cost of food has nearly doubled in the last few years, and the portions are now smaller. For example, a large order of fries used to overflow from the cup, but now it barely fills half of it for $7. While the service and staff remain friendly, the current pricing and portion sizes are disappointing. We will now be choosing to go elsewhere for our meals, such as Giant food, where we can get more for our money.

I ordered the Sub steak with cheese from the menu, hoping for something different than a traditional cheesesteak. However, what I received was a dry, chopped up cheesesteak on a hard roll with very little steak or cheese. It was a disappointing experience, as it was one of the worst cheesesteaks I have ever had there. When I called to express my concerns, the person on the phone seemed unaware of the issue. I recommend they review their menu descriptions. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Save your money. Only got 1 star because anything less wasn’t an option

The pizza and stromboli were awful. There was hardly any sauce and way too much cheese. The pizza crust tasted like it was frozen. The person who took our order had difficulty understanding or speaking English. We ordered a cheese steak stromboli but received a cheese stromboli instead. It was also very expensive. Do not waste your money here.

The service is great! Love the soft-serve raspberry ice cream.
