I ordered an ice cream cone with sprinkles and a medium milkshake and it came out to $16 plus they ask for tip. I was pretty unimpressed with the ice cream, service and overall experience.
Just okay, mostly not worth the price. The menu is difficult to see and understand as well. $5.50 for a SINGLE SCOOP of ice cream is pretty insane. Our total for five people was $35!, no one even got anything fancy. 2 small scoops no toppings, 1 small scoop on a regular cone, 1 small flurry with Reese's Pieces, 1 small scoop with cookie dough. I wish I took a receipt to take a picture of... There's like 10 people working and it took a long time to get our order, it was only my family and two others waiting in the lobby, plus drive through. When we got to the car to taste, my son said to be honest it's not that great, my daughter didn't like the cookie dough but said the ice cream was good, my husband did like his flurry (made with soft serve, so much better. It wasn't super sweet like the hard scoops), and my mother and I both thought ours were way too sweet. Way too much sugar used. I know it's ice cream, I know I got honey flavored, but I've had honey ice cream at Country Maid and in Chagrin Falls and they were both beyond amazing. This was a sugar bomb. Soft serve is good, but overall we definitely won't be back. King Kone is WAY better and WAY cheaper, and I'll get the honey at the other places mentioned.
Fast service and tastes treats. Would have given a higher rating but the 2 young girls who helped me were walking so fast and I felt rushed to order and rushed to leave. Besides the yummy dipped soft serve twist cone dipped in chocolate, I got the vegan cookie dough was not a fan- it was very crumbly didn't really taste great, would not recommend
*Great place to chill out on a hot day. You will find alll of the standaed ice cream shop must haves (blizzards, cones, sprinkles, pints) as well as yummy in house specials (blueberry cheesecake or watermelon sourpatch). A nice bonus is the inside space. I recommend the ice cream but was let down by the slushy. Not sour enough for me. *written pre covid
Big portions and big flavor. CP's is the best ice cream around here. It always has lots of flavors you don't expect from a place like this. Always check the menu online before you go. They always have some new stuff. Basically it looks like a typical neighborhood ice cream place with a table in front. It has a drive thru. This is useful if you don't want to go to the walk up window. Besides the regular ice cream they also have non dairy ice cream. It has a few flavors daily. The last time here they had the blueberry pancake. It's about $5 for a medium cup. This isn't a cheap ice cream but they put a lot in there. It's also dense. This feels like you're eating a lot. It overall is pretty impressive. It has so many favors on the menu. They have non dairy ice cream that tastes like the real thing.
