Deejays Grille - Wilmerding

I wish I could give this restaurant ten stars! My girlfriend and I met for dinner and both agreed on DeeJays. I have never had such amazing pork ribs in my life - they are absolutely heavenly! We arrived on a Sunday around 3:00pm and were seated right away, although the restaurant was filling up quickly. Unfortunately, they ran out of potato skins but we thoroughly enjoyed the mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries, and rice pilaf. The wait staff was very friendly and we loved the casual, family-friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend DeeJays!

Having grown up in the area and recently returning after many years away, I was excited to try DeeJays for the first time. I sat at the bar and had a great experience with the friendly and attentive bartender. I ordered a rack of ribs with coleslaw and fries. Unfortunately, the fries were lukewarm and seemed like they had been sitting around for a while, which was disappointing. The coleslaw was decent but could have used more seasoning. As for the ribs, they were just okay. The sauce was a bit too sweet and the ribs were overdone in an attempt to make them fall off the bone. Ultimately, I found the ribs forgettable and was unable to finish them. It's a shame, as the restaurant is only 3 miles away and I had hoped to enjoy the meal.
