Panda Express - Wilmette

The woman at the front, whose name I regrettably did not get, is very kind and friendly. I placed a carryout order that wasn't ready when I arrived. It was past 8pm and I hadn't eaten all day. I asked her if I could try a piece of orange chicken, and she gave me a small box of orange chicken and asked me if I wanted a cup for a drink. This was so unexpected and so kind and generous. I had a hard day at work, and she made my week with her hospitality.As for the food at Panda Express, it's casual and comfort American Chinese food. You can't find fault with it.

Really nice restaurant. Quiet, clean, great staff. Otherwise it's a Panda Express. Did I mention the great staff and service?

Always a pretty good experience coming here. Obviously not coming in for the health factor but that orange chicken is always worth it. They usually hire great people and keep the place clean. Ill be back here.

Have been here a couple of times and it is unlike other Panda Express locations.The food is always lukewarm. As if they burners under the food are not turned on. They seem to have minimal staff, one order taker and two cookers when we were there. The order taker had to call back and get one of the cookers out front as she was overwhelmed by phone in orders. The taste of the food differs from other locations. More mild in flavor. Then there were the other issues.There was no plastic cutlery to use for eat in customers. You had to go back to the server. The trash was overflowing. When they were notified, the response was they must have been busy last night . However even after we told them about it, no one actually went to the garbage cans took the full ones out and put in new garbage bags. The men 's room bathroom door lock was broken and did not work. The men 's room toilet was broken and did not work. There were no towels in either the men 's or women 's room.The experience gave me the impression that Scrooge owned the location and did not want to spend any money to keep it up to company standards.We will not be going back to this Panda Express location.
