Valley Lodge Tavern - Wilmette

This is a nice American restaurant option in WilmetteIt's not fancy, but not a dive.

Friends of Wilmette are just a fabulous time! Had the pot roast for my son, ate chips and a sloppy joe.

Dead at 1pm lunchtimePerhaps it is because this menu is dull or because it provides no value. Pork is at an all time low price wise.

This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case.

After having had dinner here for a long time, we were very disappointed with almost everything. Hope it was just a deviation.
