Decided to order from the Hampstead location today after reading the lowest reviews from the original in Wilmington and seeing the owner's responses. Didn't even need to check the good reviews before deciding to order. I legit just ate myself sick on this pizza. That Margherita is crazy. When I called, I got put on hold for a few minutes and they either didn't have a hold button or forgot to use it so, I heard a couple of conversations at the front counter while I waited. I taught sales and communication and have to say they handled an awkward conversation with a customer like absolute pros. The girl who took my order was exceptionally nice and took an extra moment to make polite conversation. Small stuff like that is a big deal in customer service. It was, maybe, 15 seconds of conversation so nobody was forced to wait but it made the experience much better. The delivery guy was really friendly and polite as well and they got here faster than I expected. Wish I'd gotten employee names to call them out individually. The food was great. Y'all should remember to separate cold items because my tiramisu was soup once it got here but everything else was so good, particularly the service, that I decided not to even call and let them know. We'll definitely order again.
Just had this delivered..... 25 bucks for this!! Incompetence at its best. I do still love their pizzas and will always get my pies there.
We love Italian Bistro and were so excited to try the new location in Hampstead. Unfortunately the young woman working the register was lacking in customer service and was very rude, even in front of the manager (who did nothing to reprimand her), so we will not be back to this location. I had asked for no red onion on either my pizza or my salad, it came on both. Picked it off the salad fine, and off the pizza, but then the pizza was raw. I went up to the counter to nicely let them know, and the young woman instantly had an attitude and started arguing with me. I said, I don 't know why you 're being so rude, but either way, though I said no red onion, the dough is not cooked . The manager offered to remake it and I said thank you. But the attitude of the young woman at the front and the fact that management let her speak to customers like that, is why we won 't be back. We will take our $10 gift card to the Porters Neck location. Side salad and app were great! (Remade pizza was burnt)
This was the food my fiance and I grabbed and took to the lake. At the lake, he asked me to marry him. With a full, happy belly, I said yes!
