First the mam behind the counter was ignorant, second my corn dog was partly frozen in the middle and the stick was broken off where I didn't know there was a stick inside until bit into it. On the other end of things, the shrimp pizza was excellent. When ordering online, you don't get the opportunity to know what is on the pizza, so I took my chances and found out it has quite a combination of things:. Cheese, light sauce, onions, green peppers, and a decent amount of shrimp.
I ordered the Cajun tenders which were already there in the counter . The smell was awful when I had it at home. I threw them in the trash . It looked stale and spoilt. The attender also needs to wear gloves while preparing food. I noticed he touched inside his ear and also was making food with the same hand!
The chicken is amazing. The honey biscuits are mind blowing. The potato wedges are hittin'. Don't get me started on the sweet potatoes pie. I have lived in Claymont for eight years and this is my favorite spot. I just learned about it from a neighbor two weeks ago. Bought a meal with sides and dessert for four people for under $40. Where else can you say that? Best chicken I've had besides my Granny's.
Consistently the freshest, sassiest and most competently fried chicken in north Wilmington. A pretty close approximation of authentic New Orleans fried chicken.
Please check your order before you leave the place. 1st they gave me wrong order. Lucky I checked in the car and went back to fix the order. 2nd, the jambalaya they gave me are bad. That can cause food poisoning. 3rd, chickens too salty. Overall, it's a really bad experience.
