We ordered the fish chips and an order of the fried green tomatoes. Everything was delicious!! We were told that everything there besides a few salad dressings is made homemade. The fish is brought in fresh then breaded. It does make a difference and you can certainly taste it!
Food was good, loved the fried green tomatoes. Waitress made us uncomfortable with the lack of service despite being very hospitable with the tables around us.Food: 4/5
We took our mother here for her 78th birthday. There were 10 of us on a Tuesday afternoon about 3:00. There were about 7 other people in the restaurant. I don’t know if they aren’t accustomed to big groups or too many people in the restaurant at one time, but service was slow. Slow to get our initial drink order and slow to get our meal. Overall the food was good. Our waitress was friendly and definitely tried her best.
When we walked in we were shown to our booth We waited 20 minutes before someone came over to us. The waitress was pleasant. My wife ordered fish and chips and it was terrible and burnt. The fries were soggy. I had the corn beef brisket and it was good. Unfortunately we will not return. Just be careful what you order and be prepared for a long wait.
We really like coming to Paddy's. 5 Stars for everything, but... unfortunately we would like to come in for dinner, but when you close at 5:00 five days a week... Well, that's not really a restaurant or a pub when you have to eat at 4:30 to get dinner. Well, open at 11:30 and close at 6:00? Many places in Wilmington open at 5:00 while Paddy's has gone home.
