Sakura Sushi - Wilmington

I had dinner at Sakura, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. For about $28, you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat menu with fantastic options. They served both sushi and sashimi, although there was a cap on the amount of sashimi you could order. Fortunately, the limit was quite generous—I believe it was 50 pieces. While each piece wasn't as large as a typical slice, they weren't too small either. The restaurant's decor is beautiful, and the food quality is excellent. The presentation of multiple rolls is simply stunning.

After enjoying a pleasant dinner, I attempted to place a takeout order for my father-in-law. However, after a few minutes of trying to get my order sorted, I decided to tell my waitress to forget it. To my surprise, she had the audacity to ask if I was upset. Well, at that point, I was annoyed! After that, she didn't return to our table. I'd like to mention that while people were ordering individually, the food came out all at once and sometimes got mixed up on the same plates. This was my only complaint—until the very end of our meal.

We were on the hunt for a new sushi restaurant since we were tired of our usual spots, and we came across this one on Google. RJ was particularly interested because of a dish called the "Hairy Mexican Roll." To our surprise, the place was quite busy, but we soon learned that they offered an "all you can order" option. For $27.95, we could choose as much as we wanted, or go à la carte. After weighing our options, we decided to go with the all-you-can-eat deal. They do charge for leftovers, so we ordered gradually. The sushi was decent—nothing particularly special or unique, but still enjoyable. The spring rolls were a bit on the oily side. Overall, we would definitely return to try other items from the menu.

Haven't gone in awhile so was surprised that the sashimi was not offered for lunch anymore.The appetizers were still great, but the rolls have changed and the better ones were not offered for lunch in my option.Perhaps I will go back for dinner.

Very enjoyable. The sushi here is always excellent, and I have never gotten food poisoning from it unlike some other places. Our server was very nice, and kept an eye on our table without pestering us. Sakura is my sushi restaurant of choice!
