We kicked off our meal with Bloody Marys, mimosas, and oysters Rockefeller, all of which were delicious. The seafood was fresh and locally sourced, while the steak and eggs were also top-notch. We were also treated to biscuits with homemade jam and butter, as well as a fruit dish. Our server, Renee, took great care of us. The outdoor terrace provided a lovely setting for brunch, with perfect shade from the summer sun. Can't wait to go back for more!
Fresh seafood and creative flavors. Super Executive Cook make excellent tasting food. The waitress was attentive, friendly and knows the menu. Go, eat, enjoy. Deon selection, cocktails, wines, local designs beers. 4-6 pm oysters on the half-shell specialties. (We came 15 minutes too late to the benefits of this special) Large large bar with TV for sports fans. Outdoor, private alcoves, beautiful woodwork and the music was great. I have never met the manager and how it/him already, because they take care of the attention to details from food to the front door mats.
The deviled egg with fried oyster appetizer was amazing. The shrimp scampi was by far the best I’ve had. My friend had the fresh catch yellow fin tuna and said it had a fantastic and fresh flavor They even have mini dessert “shooters” for when you want just a small ending to a fantastic meal.
Staff was wonderful, food excellent and atmosphere lovely. Our party of 12 was able to make a reservation (this has been a challenge in the area) and all in our discerning party were pleased with meals and bar drinks. Everything was fresh and seemed scratch-made, down to the tartar sauce and chive butter. Cioppino had just enough heat and a good amount of protein, scallops were perfectly cooked with delicious risotto and sprouts, salmon outstanding, calabash platter worth repeating, wedge salad fantastic. Even the kids were happy with chicken tenders and hamburgers and the fries really were amazing. Only criticism came from the guys who thought the mule was a little too sweet, but the gals liked it just as is. We've been dining in the Wrightsville Beach area every summer for ten years at different restaurants at similar price points. This was top of the list to date.
Our server Sam recommended that we try their Long Island Ice Teas, and they did not disappoint! We ordered the upper shelf and were very satisfied. For starters, we had the Calamari and deviled eggs, both of which were very good. My friend enjoyed the Brunchburger, loaded with onion rings, eggs, and more, while I opted for the shrimps and grits, which had a beautiful portion size and great taste and texture. The restaurant itself is beautiful with decor reminiscent of raised non-stick, and the staff was nice and worked well together. We will definitely be returning, and this place is a great addition to Wilmington, especially for native New Yorkers calling Wilmington home.
