The Little Dipper - Wilmington

Fantastic restaurant! The service is excellent and the food is delicious. I've visited many times, and it always exceeds my expectations!

The service was outstanding and a significant improvement from my previous visit, although I had a different server this time.

I visited this restaurant for the first time last October to celebrate my anniversary. I returned this week, and we’re planning to bring some friends along next month.

Traveling from out of state we returned to Wilmington mostly to eat here. It is a million times tastier and easier on the wallet, with great portion sizes, than the nationally known fondue chain.

Normally I absolutely love this restaurant, especially for special occasions. My husband was so happy to get a nice table reserved on my birthday (he booked it back in March). Our favorite table 1 was booked so we settled for table 10. I have to say though, it was ladies night and pretty loud the waiter we had made us feel rushed and honestly seemed as if he could care less that we were there for a special occasion and spending a decent amount of money on dinner and a bottle of wine! He never mentioned what the ladies night special was by the way, we asked why they were so busy and another waitress told us what the special was (but we had already ordered)! My husband mentioned it was my birthday when he made the reservation and when we sat down, then after the waiter brought the bill he had to “ask” if they could bring me a desert for my birthday! It was awkward! Not to mention that the food was not nearly as good as it has been before, the lobster was small and a bit over cooked and we seriously had 4 pieces of potatoes and 4 carrots and 2 small pieces of broccoli on the side( I should have taken a picture! The ladies there for “ladies night” had bigger servings for $9 compared to our $80 dinner (we bought a $40 bottle of wine too). Anyhow, we were not impressed at all this time, I guess we will have to find a new special occasion place to celebrate and feel special :
