The Melting Pot - Wilmington

The restaurant did not have the vegan menu as advertised online, but the server was able to accommodate us with vegan options. The cheese and chocolate were delicious, but the entrees were disappointing. We may consider returning for the cheese or chocolate, but not for the entrees.

My partner and I went on a double date to this restaurant. While my partner and two others shared a cheese pot, I ordered a vegan pot. The server was great about letting us split the bill but divide the food accordingly. At first, I was disappointed to find out the cheese was just FYH cheese, but the delicious seasonings added to it completely blew me away! It reminded me of my grandfather's saying, "an apple without cheese is like a kiss without the squeeze." Fondue dipping the apples brought back memories of sharing snacks with him, which was a wonderful experience.

Our experience was made even better by our server razing. she seemed an expert for all melting pot. she kept the meal in a tempo that is not too fast or too slow. she explained the menu, the courses, the articles and the immersing sauces without pretense and made our special at night even more. give them a rachel an increase. we will come back to see them and we will send our friends and neighbours to the melting pot to see them. it was refreshing during this time of reduced staff and seemingly reduced service levels to get great service.

Fantastic experience. dinner for two had more than enough food. gluten-free options are significantly better than expected.
