This restaurant always has a line of people waiting outside, and now I know why. Today, I decided to try their curry shrimp, but they were already sold out by the time I arrived. I explained that I prefer white meat over thigh meat, and they were able to accommodate my request. The food was delicious, not too spicy, and the portion size was perfect. I am thrilled that I finally found a place where I can enjoy ethnic food without worrying about the meat used. Thank you!
This restaurant has a very casual atmosphere. The food is amazing, definitely the best in Wilmington. The oxtails are not overly salty and the curried chicken is not too spicy. I highly recommend giving them a try, just be prepared to wait in the restaurant for about 10-15 minutes. The menu changes daily.
I have never been disappointed with tj's food,Food: 5/5
The oxtail was absolutely delicious. You can tell it's authentic Jamaican cuisine.
I’ve been here 3x for Oxtails each time they said they were sold out. They open at 11am, I got there at 12pm the 1st time and the following times it was roughly 11:30am and each time they “sold out”.They have a handwritten menu in the wall with item crossed off limiting their menu to just 3 options. Why put things on the menu that you don’t have. It was too early to be sold out.Their business hours are false. Sometimes they’re open sometimes they’re not. That’s bad for people who are on lunch break. I drove all the way there for nothing. I’m done!No parking and bad customer service. The woman was not nice or professional at all.
