We ordered sushi rolls, filet hibachi and a bottle of wine.We didn’t get a wine chiller with our wine so I got warm.Asked for no sesames on our sushi since the wife is allergic and they were covered they were remade but then they didn’t bring us ginger or wasabi I asked for both but never got it.The filet hibachi was never brought to the table. $63 I feel robbed. I’m sure I just got an off day or someone not in there “zone” but it sucks.
It's a really beautiful restaurant. The food tasted great. I got the scallop yakisoba, and they were good-quality scallops, too. Good pricing and the staff a very friendly. The waitress at my table was so nice.Food: 5/5
The hibachi was sad. Steak was tough and fried rice was frozen, not fresh. Sushi was decent. Service was absolutely atrocious. No wonder this place was dead when we walked in on a Saturday night.
Shopping around Mayfaire for a while, my mother and I stopped in for lunch. We chose to sit outdoors, which was pleasant and enjoyable! We both thought the price point was excellent. The sushi, hibachi, and yakisoba were all excellent. I will go back!Food: 5/5
During our visit to the Wilmington area, a friend suggested we try Tokyo 101, and we were not disappointed. The ambiance was enjoyable, creating a really cool atmosphere. The service was outstanding; our server was truly professional. The sushi was delicious, featuring unique twists on some traditional rolls. I particularly appreciated the recommendations from our server. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer more vegetarian and vegan options for my wife. Overall, we will definitely return the next time we’re in Wilmington.
