Touch Of Italy - Wilmington

Pre-COVID complaint. We are never going back. Both times we went the food was okay, but nothing worth the price. Since the first time we went, they had just opened, but we decided to give them a second try a year later. After a subpar meal, my mother ordered an Irish coffee. They were out of whipped cream, so my mother asked if they could put a tablespoon of vanilla ice cream in her coffee instead. They charged her for the dab of ice cream! I've held off writing this review, so I forget how much, but it was what they would have charged for a full scoop if ice cream, which she did not receive. Never again!

We went there for a first time and even thought the food was good price was too much for the amount of food we got just a piece of lasagna with not size like $18 and my Salmon platter was an ok portion an ok price not counting drinks and tip not going back too too expensive

Skeptical because of the number of stars other gave this place. However my growling stomach said go in anyway. The smells of good italian food entered my nose immediately upon walking in. Loved the decor of the place very warm and inviting. Sat by a cute wood oven that kept me nice and warm. Started the night with some bread and olive oil! Yum not hot bread but still good. Entrees: Spaghetti 8/10 huge dish enough to split. meatballs were just ok. Sauce was great not like other places were it's too watery and plain. Shrimp scampi 10/10 loved this dish! Not enough to split but it was the perfect size for one person. Loaded with lemon butter sauce and about 9 shrimp. Well worth it. Alfredo shrimp scampi 10/10 huge dish! Split it. Soo I ordered the shrimp scampi minus the lemon butter sauce and added alfredo sauce! Definitely a great way to order this if your thinking you want alfredo sauce because you get 9 shrimp! (FYI: if u order fettuccine Alfredo and add shrimp u only get 4) Great service and short wait time.

Met a friend here last week for lunch. When I first arrived I was not very hopeful as the hostess was not very welcoming/friendly. She also sat us at a booth right next to a 6 top that was having a work meeting. At the time, we were the only 2 tables in the entire place. Thankfully, the bartender served us and he was great. Very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and it was delicious. My friend ordered the mozzarella caprese with grilled chicken and that looked great too. The complimentary bread was also very good! I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Amazing food and the host is a absolute gentleman. My wife and I love this guy
