Pizza is great - everything is fresh and made on the premises. The baking is out of this world. Fresh, homemade, cakes, cookies, butter tarts, pies, etc. Each is made on the premises without preservatives. The break is good too.
This is a very tiny bakery and pizzeria in old New Dundee. (Just around the corner is the New Dundee Emporium which dates to 1887). There are no tables inside but there were two tables and chairs outside on the small patio so if the weather is not too inclement you can dine al fresco. On my first visit I bought some butter tarts, a jar of local honey and an extra large pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, roasted red peppers and bacon. (The local honey came with a loaf of freshly baked bread. Nice touch!)The pizza was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had but not bad at all. The dough was freshly made but it could have been chewier and the pepperoni could have been tastier. Regardless, I will go back again and I would recommend this place to anyone who is tired of the pizza chains.

So we showed up without reservation, gave our number and waited along the steps of the church opposite for 45 minutes (exact waiting time quoted earlier).
