Bill's Grill - Wilson

The atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is friendly and engaging. I'm gradually making my way through the menu, and so far, I've been very happy with my choices: for breakfast, I had the hoop cheese tenderloin biscuit with a small bowl of grits, and for lunch, I enjoyed a delicious chicken salad sandwich on toast.

I started with some crispy fries and sweet potato fries, which were perfect. The salad was fresh and tasty, and for my main course, I had fried pork chops—oh wow! After lunch, I understood why the waitress was so relaxed about the sodas. I usually leave a tip of 20%, but this time I added a little extra cash under the plate. I recently moved to Wilson two months ago, and my son has eaten here every chance he gets over the past two years; he insisted I try it and write a review. If you enjoy exploring local favorites like I do, you absolutely need to visit Bill's Grill. The solid menu and skilled kitchen staff give the waitresses every reason to be confident. This might be my longest and best review yet! To my friends from other places, Wilson may seem like the middle of nowhere in North Carolina, but this restaurant truly puts it on the map. It's definitely worth the visit—check it out and leave your own review; I promise you won't be disappointed!

We were delighted to discover this hidden gem in Wilson while traveling for a tournament. We always make an effort to try local places, and this one exceeded our expectations. To our surprise, there was great live music and a charming atmosphere, and the food was fantastic. The prices were very reasonable as well; my meal of pork chops with two sides cost just $8.99. The wait staff was friendly and attentive too.

This restaurant offers a nice, relaxing atmosphere and has a friendly staff. I would likely give it 5 stars if they hadn't run out of chicken salad. I even ordered dessert, which is something I rarely do! I'll update my review once I finally get to try the chicken salad.

Fantastic food and service! The biscuits are absolutely amazing. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive to our needs. The prices are reasonable, so I highly recommend Bill's Grill for a wonderful breakfast experience.
