Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries - Wilson

We stopped on the way to Baltimore in the area. We came across this diner by chance and decided to go. The staff is very friendly and polite. They went beyond and beyond to make sure our food was wonderful. I had the cheese steak. That was a big cheese steak, meat, cheese, onions? I don't eat fungal allergy) or paprika. The bread to which it came was perfect! My husband had the hot dogs and chili cheese riders and was impressed by him everything he even asked for more Koleslaw!) I really hope you'll see by and have something to eat! You have cute cars to be served for the kids menu food. The menu offers a good choice for children and adults.

I visited the Blvd airport in Wilson, NC. I wasn't greeted when I came in. I sat 10 minutes before someone recognized my presence that was one of the chefs. He took my orders and prepared my food. No one of the waiters has touched me yet. After that I got my food, the cook that was prepared for it to go back. I saw the other cook prepare food without gloves. He took his hat and scratched his face then began to prepare food without washing his hands. The other chef came from behind and asked the waitresses if they would revenge me. There were three waiters who work so that I don't understand why the customer service was so poor. I often visit this place and have never received such a bad customer service. I have been there to dinate and it was just a waitress and the cook and the customer service was much better. Very disappointed!

I tried this restaurant for the first time last week. I am now on my third visit (lol) the service is wonderful and this shrimp bo'boy is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Update 5/23 feels like complete rotation around, cold food pommes were not in the box complete disappointment? Update 7/27 tried again... will not be ANOTHER UPDATE again! After conversing with someone on our local Wilson FB site, I decided to give another try to BIG MISTAKE! Decided to build my own burger and bacon ordered a Cheeseburger meal for my daughter as well as did not mention this for the delivery of my daughter NO DRINK, I called to demand that our burgers and my bacon are well made. Food comes here and there are 1 pieces of bacon that was broken and BURNT! ABSOLUTELY PITIFUL last and last straw!

Went for lunch and had a horrible experience. My first burger was missing bacon, that?s fine it can be added. But the pepper Jack cheese was hard with no attempt to melt it. Sent it back and overheard the cook state something about the melted cheese messing up the grill. So she sends it back out. The burger tastes like water and was undercooked.didn?t feel like having them do it over so I just paid for it and left unsatisfied. I only ate a few bites. However my server was very apologetic and sweet. Didn?t remember her name but she was a slim blonde girl. Went to the other one a few miles up the road in Wilson, they got it all right!

Tonight was dance night for the oldest so afterwards we decided to head to Highway 55 on airport since there was a nice review posted the other day on this location. Our service was extremely fast and efficient tonight and our food came out piping hot and delicious. One of the things that impressed us the most is how the staff was welcoming everyone that came in the door and holding the door for folks getting takeout. Even though we didn?t order anything for the 1 year old our waitress brought her a car to play with while we waited. Thanks Katie and Hwy 55!!
